 The
popularity of the team racequeen DVD is waning a little in Japan
with most of the new releases being a 45 min Idol style release. The DVDs
are almost impossible to find outside of Japan, but still remain the
best way to admire your favourite race queen, unless you have an
opportunity to attend a SuperGT race.
The
runtime of the DVDs can vary from 45 minutes to 3 hours. The 45
minute DVDs tend to be more popular with the producers of solo
artists, where one racequeen from a particular team can be seen in various
posies wearing clothes ranging from her racequeen uniform, reviling
bikinis and casual wear. The team DVDs such as the Endless
and Mario
releases tend to run to about One hour or more in length. Occasionally
the DVDs are released containing photos or postcards as an extra
gift in a similar way to the trading cards included with most
racequeen magazines.
